Being part of the European Union, EU citizens can live and work in Portugal through the freedom of movement of persons. For the others, Portugal offers several Visas catered at different profiles. While the rules for the popular Golden Visa have changed, it remains possible to get access to Portugal through the real estate and other investments through the Golden Visa. Recently, Portugal created a Digital Nomad Visa (D8) to welcome them to come and work in Portugal. Another popular Visa is the D7, which target people with passive income. Other Visas are the D2, D3, D4 made especially for international students.
