From an old warehouse, the vision of the developer was to create 5 independent properties that meet the current standards of comfort and esthetics by preserving the original features and characteristics of the warehouse, combining history and modernity. The atmosphere of simplicity and clarity is conveyed by the façade, which has been preserved, and by the interiors through the materials and the simple colour palette without ever overloading the space.
Miguel Abecasis, the architect and the driving force behind the project has realised most of the building’s extraordinary potential, both its iconic façade, facing east, and its highly versatile interior, so much so that it is possible to join houses together.
With its enormous ceiling height and outdoor space with its bucolic vertical garden, this project is an eclectic contrast that conveys soul, serenity, comfort and sophistication. Following the architect’s lead, Daniela Franceschini from Quiet Studio imagined the interior of the houses as a perfect cross between industrial and pure space. The interiors’ spaciousness, iron frames, flooring, and the inspiration of industrial textures and finishes blend in with the warm wood and interior finishes with organic shapes.
